Don’t be a buck, you’re not in rut. Watch for deer

Any Midwesterner worth his/her salt knows that crazy deer are out to get you this time of year.

The deer rut, for those who haven’t experienced it, it simply deer mating season. Male deer known as bucks, seem to lose their minds and have been known to run blindly into oncoming traffic chasing a female. And, of course, there are the females running away from the bucks and not paying particular attention to where they are going either.

When you’re behind the wheel, are you paying attention to what you’re doing or is your attention on something else? Since the deer clearly aren’t going to be looking for you, you should use extra caution and look for them.

What do you do if you see a deer on the road? https://youtu.be/uLROtcEQsJc
